Vintage Handcrafted Mexican Sterling Silver Fish Pendant
The craftsmanship of the Mexican silver articulated fish is incredible. This was a design emerging in the 1960s and 1970s in Mexico, yet notably seen in Asian cultures long before. The articulated fish was rumored to be originated as fishing lures, but evolved into pendants and snuff holders that were often associated with abundance, fertility, and luck.
While the fish can move freely, the mouth is a small bottle opener. It's the perfect addition to adorn a bartender and a great conversation starter.
Length: 2-3/4 inches across.
